Got a new camera today aswell as a 300mm lens. Looks means lol, will have a good play tomorrow when its light. Heres some pics of it though...

body alone is 400, its a 400d. Lens was 100, got it half price as a deal with the camera. Paid about 550 and got a memory card, spare battery and uv filters aswell.

Thats a good deal, but you will get a few stares with that lens lol people will think your paparazzi.

Lol! Only use for that particular lens will be at race meetings or track days. I found the standard lens hasnt a long enough zoom for decent track side pics.

where u get that from mate? I got a 400d kit with the same lense for £480 from jessops about a month ago

From Jessops aswell, probably the same deal but I got other stuff with it too. Spare battery, bag, UV filters, memory card...

I went up the downs yesterday for a few minutes and took a couple of pics in the car park, was freezing. I will upload them at some point but cant get the software to work on my mac Sure we can meet up soon tho mate.
