Hey there people, my mate has just bought a coscast head, and there's hardly any "meat" on the face does anyone know how low i can go before the valves and pistons get physical!

depend's on what piston's he's got too..
if it's an early bottom end, will probably have forged piston's with valve cut out's..
the later engine's had crappy cast one's with no cut out's...
