right mates dvd player plays the radio, and through its auxillary fine, but when you put a cd in its just very quiete static, also when it plays a dvd the picture comes up but the noise isnt there again

on my pioneer theres a setting for the other inputs compared to the fm level. if it has that then it might be turned down.

and i played with it and you can hear the vocals etc of the dvd in the background behind static

i reset it and still nothing, i can hear the cd spinning through the speakers
