Always been a fan of these over any other brand....

Im impressed with mine, i just use USB sticks, takes a few secs to load the 1st time u plug it in but fine after that.
Easy to use and find songs esp when u have loads in diff folders etc, face off is good too, flips out for easy removal.
Any other q's let i know.

no, a wire on the back, comes with like a 1m extension cable so you can route it round the front or wherever u want it.

Ahh got ya, I have the proper iPod wire as well with the cap so that i can just leave it in there and put my iPod in the cubby hole

Ive got an older version of the top one. Cant fault it except controlling the IPOD through the unit is bit fiddly and confusing. However if you prepare some playlists or stick it on shuffle its not an issue. sound quality is top notch too.

Agreed with the sound quality, my last Headunit was Pioneer and i liked that, i love this one, bright display, easy to use, scrolling text etc

I'm sending my DEH-P7000UB back Mostly because it doesn't suit the car or the interior... too in your face
Nice bit of kit though (although very complex menu system etc. and also it seems to reset itself everytime its turned off )
