my corsa 1.4 16v seems to be not running very hot it still below the 90 mark is this ok?
it does go up wen im in traffic tho

your thermostat is more than likely stuck open mines exactly the same

itll just be cos its so cold at the moment. have you got the heaters on? turn them off and the engine will get hotter

na it shouldnt be nothing to do with the weather it is just where there is no thermostat.

but the thermostat will go up if i sit in traffic ie stop and start and yeah the temp will go down if the heaters are on

if it stays at around 85-90 degree's it is fine, the cold weather DOES cool it with your fan on

yea it should sit around the 90 degree mark but i wouldnt have thought the cold wheather would effect it that much

If its cold outside and you've got the heaters on then it can drop the engine temp a little.

I think the corsa temp gauge is to blame most of the time because of the 10 degrees between the top and bottom marks. Makes it look either too cold or too hot most of the time. as long as its near the 90 degree mark I wouldn't say you have a problem
