awrite guys im after a bit of help!
Recently bought a tb set up for ma c20xe but having problems getting it all put together. The manifold seem to make the tb's sit rather flat to the top of the engine so points directly towards the part of the bulk head that cant be removed. So was just wondering which manifold that the guys with the tb's on here are using as the onther ones ive seen dont seem to have as harsh an angle and can get the trumpets and filters on alot easier (its an sbd one i have at the minute but unsure of the part number). Any help will be much appreciated
cheers kev

ah right. must just be the inlet manifold angle then. was sure the sbd one's were had a good angle on them.
iirc Dave found the best angle for the free'est flowing of air into the head/cylinder.
best to phone him though he's spot on with help with tb's

it sounds like your manifold was the same as mine ie straight, you will need either a 27 degree or 34 degree manifold

cheers for the info mattb. unsure of teh angle the now but it seems to be quite alot so rekon the 27 may be the best bet but will need to get up to car and try measure the inlet to get a better idea.

if you are fouling the bulkhead you will either need a greater angled manifold or shorter trumpets..

sorry for my lack of knowledge about it but is the angle taken from where it joins the head or is it the bend in the manifold? The trumpets i have at the minute are 40mm
