If you really want to do the rounds this year, buy a car thats already spec'd.
With a setback like this though I personally would concentrate on a full on development for next year.

its a very very similar spec engine wise to our stolen one.... running similar power, but smaller turbo's.
All that would need is fueling mods (we have at home) possibly bigger turbos and a remap for 600bhp
but there are better cars about for about 2-3k less.
I'd want it for about 7.5k maybe 8.5k
as we'd have to spend about 6-7k aprox to get to where we were

we're looking to buy one towards the end of may....
I dont really have any money spare till then, and the Ins wont cover a decent initial buy. I dont want this one to be build from scratch.
My plan (not sure what fee thinks) is to buy a rolling shell in a while (year or two) and build a car to race in TimeAttack or saloon car champ etc.... I'm frustrated at her getting all the fun
She'll then be given the old car and have to maintain it herself

Idea's Idea's Idea's!
Main thing is to get something sorted & get back racing, dont let this knock you off course too much. Semi decent GTR for c.£10k with a bit of power, cage, sus, brakes already done. Then look to get a better shell the following yr.
