Just wee question,am puttin an x14xe into a 1.2 16v shell for a boy,I've done countless 2ltr conversions etc but not in a 12 16v shell,am just wondering if sum1 can tell me how to wire it as the wiring is different as u will know!

Never done a conversion from a 1.2 16V, is that the one with the ECU in the engine bay? Its a case of extemding some of the wires from where the old ECU was back to the drivers footwell where you will be putting the new ECU
Seen as its an X14XE. he does have the transponder chip from the key and the pickujp that goes around the ignition barrel doesnt he?

yeh got that,thats the way av wired it,its crankin but no spark or fuel,fuel pump wire etc r connected and all colour for colour as much as poss,left with a couple of wires spare that don't mate up,is it poss they join to another colour of wire?does any1 have a list of the colours and what they are for sxi and x14xe? know most of them but there r sum a don't know what the colours mean

ok in the engine bay there is the 2 plugs,a black 1 with 4 wires and the other has various others,av joined from the black plug,thick red n blue(should be fuel pump),plain blue(should be temp guage)and black(ecu ign feed a think) then on the other plug av joined brown n white,thin blue n red,green and brown n blue!still no spark or fuel,any ideas?chip and transponder are changed aswell
