standard cams are good as standard so maybe some head work would be nice

there's alot better cam's that can be used with standard management over standard cam's

if anything..
order would be
panel filter
exhaust/decat
cam's
tb's
then if need rebuild
headwork
new oversized piston's etc etc etc etc
no point, taking the head off to do work, unless headgasket gone or are gonna rebuild it

thats kinda my list for next year when i re build the xe
Full rebuild.. and i do mean full
Bottom end ballanced
lightened flywheel
f28 box
head off to steve smethurst (nice and shiny when it comes back)
head sent off to get ported & polished
new cams
eventualy a nice set of TB's dono which to go for tho.
thats my list.
tho it does all depend on your money situations mate. so think logicaly what you can afford and what you cant.

cams are pointless without vernier pulleys and management alterations to make the most of them. Personally I would put TB's onto an engine with standard cams, get it running well and then look into cams. cams can make or break an engine so choice of cam is very important, bigger numbers are not always better.

f28 box???
what would be the point in that
its running a f20 at the mo and its just a bit fooked lol
i have always wanted a 6 speed box so then would be the time to change it.
i seem to remember the guy i bought the car off saying that its got a short ratio f20 well it will only do 135/140mph so im thinking this might be true.. any ideas on that?
