Im off deep sea fishing tomorrow
We have to pay extra for bait, and a few people are going to be taking some of their own.
So I thought id ask for people opinions, what sort of bait do you think I should get/use and how large should the bait be?
We are going a few miles out off of weymouth, Im guessing Makeral and Squid, but I check to see if anyone has another tips

With the weather like this i'd stick with squid and try to bag a cod or pollock. Pennel rig a big squid, that should do.
If ray are about a fat mackerel on a pennel would bag them providing you put it on a long trace.
