when changing brake pads and disks as soon as the caliper is off does the disk just slide off ? and a new 1 slide on

as ive got a 1.1 pug 106 and will the gti disks go straight on ?

should do there will be a philips screw that needs to be removed though

gti discs will need gti calipers iirc

should bolt straight onto a 1.1
