I seen a few people on here smooth out thier petrol cover.
Daft question, but i cant see how you would get it open if you did that.
Anybody know the answer, cheers

lool this is one of the reasons why i havnt had one, i dont want to take 5 mins to open the cap

its easy, just get your finger nails behing the cap and open it.
The cap has a rubber seal all the way around it which leaves a 5/6mm gap to the main body of the car.
Mines been done 4/5 years and I've never had an issue, the paints never cracked and it doesnt take any longer than a normal cap to open

Im gonna see if i can open mine as it is with my nails.
Im sure its pretty stiff maybe you have to have womens nails to have a smoothed cap. lol

Mine was made slightly on the cock. It doesnt sit flush to the bodywork, which thakfull, makes it slightly easier to open lol

i've got no nails; cut them too short all the time - never had a problem
