Just remember, there was a time when if you had said that the earth was round, you would have been laughed at and corrected that it was flat and you should be locked up for suggesting such a proposterous thing. They thought at the time they were the forefront of human knowledge and technology - the same as we think we are now.
'Man will land on the moon? Don't be so rediculous'
'Gas? It'll never replace coal'
What next exactly? Never travel at the speed of light?

So you're comparing the fact the earth wasn't considered spherical to the fact we don't consider there being living creatures underneath the earths crust in wee lava villages?
How good were the drugs abroad Tiger?

I'm not interested in creatures living in the earth

The story about the earth being flat was also a myth, theres nothing to suggest anybody ever believed that.
Have you still not realised how utterly idiotic a prospect that is
I'm also back with my drill, they had a makita cheap so i'll get going as soon as the battery charges.

Thing is, they couldn't prove the earth wasn't flat... we CAN prove the earth is not hollow already using satelites and modern technology to analyse things internally.
Half these books that talk about hollow earths were either written in the 1800's or based on the books written in the 1800's... back then they couldn't prove it wasn't true, so people could have theories and people let their imagination run wild... Now we can look back and laugh... - not believe
'We will never travel at the speed of light'
That's different again, I believe we may be able to one day, it just requires infinite energy - but that is using convential thinking...
However earth, hollow, fuck off, - tho infact it is in a sense 'hollow' as it's a crust with a liquid center, so remove the liquid and it'd be left with a hollow planet

Inner core of the earth is totally solid, not liquid.
Looking further they know the exact composition of the earth, it's not a theory, they KNOW what its made of.

It's a lot simpler than that Nasa report tbh.
Find the shape and size - which we know
Find the mass and density using Newtons law of gravity - which we can
Establish the moment of inertia i.e. position of the axis of rotation amongst other things which we have
Those three things establish there is a a chasm created which is inhabited by small beings called scoop muck and dizzy and rolly too then lofty and wendy join the crew bob and the gang have so much fun working together they get the job done.
Fuck Tiger you were right

What a load of shit. The Physics / Mathematics doesnt work for his crap theory and therefore is massively flawed.
Your right we havent been to the centre an seen ourselves but thats what all the scientifc equipment is for.
I could say so much on the subject but I fear you wouldnt understand anyway. For example we know that other stars have planets orbiting them even though we cant see them directly, same as black holes we cant see them but we can see their interactions with other objects and since we already know the physics of said systems we know they are there.
If the Earth was Hollow it would collpase in on itself due to gravity pure an simple, when you understand how gravity fully works then come back and back the theory up.

@ this thread.
I wonder if a plane, on a conveyor belt would be able to take off on the inner plannet?
