... writing up a quick list of parts needed to fit c20xe into a corsa (1.6 16v)

i know roughly bout engine mounts etc
just need help with the driveshafts bit

which shafts,hubs,cv's etc

powercap or eco-tec adaptor plate and pipe?

and how do most people connect exhaust from corsa to c20xe manifold/downpipe - ( j plate pre cat model , but has lamba sensor for some reason:boggle

and lastly, do u have to upgrade brakes and suspension? or is it out of preference and drivabilty/useabilty

for a friend so info much appriciated

realy just need info on what hubs, shafts and cv's to use
car is a s plate 1.6 sport
can anything from car be used or does everything have to be from donar car or new conversion parts

You can use the hubs and shafts from your 1.6. you need cav CV's (either inner or outer-can't remember which)

then you need mounts
engine + box + loom + ecu etc
also a 1.012v top rad hose as they fit better imo.
You would also need to get an exhaust made up, and also upgrade brakes and suspension if you havn't already.

That was just off the top of my head quick.

As fro says above pretty much. Cav Mk2 inner CV's you be needing.

Exhaust can be welded, but tbh your best off getting a proper one made up.

so cav inner cv's - from local scrappy

and for exhaust, would a flexi hose from downpipe be ok till full system done?

it's a mk2 cav 1.6 inners you need

If it was me mate i'd buy the CV's new as opposed to 2nd hand ones from a scrappy, only about 40-50 a side from vaux. Will probably need to order them in though.

The ones eel has posted are inside ones. You can use standard outer ones, but you will need 22 spline shafts.

use the link i put that is the inner cv's for the gear box and just use your 1.6 hubs, shafts and outer cv's

i think the 1.6 16v sport shafts are 22 spline but the corsa gsi ones defo are

When my converison was done I was told the shafts were 22 spline.
Sold them and they weren't. So not all 1.6 sports are 22's.

Its strange that not all of them are 22's.

Mine must have been as they were fine.
