got my c20xe into the nova all the looms connected up and the ecu is powered it turns over but dont start cheeked the plug and im not getting any spark.
have i missed somthing dose any1 know what it is or could be
all wires are on the - bat terminal is connected to the gear box with an earth coming from it to the wing.
still not starting thought it dont even seem to turn over how it should eirther seem to stop like when the bat is dead put jump leads on it and it still dont turn properly

sounds like timing or battery completly knackered for the turning over side of things,
as for the spark check all the earth connections on the loom are connected,
wat type xe is it

timing spot on just had new cam belt kit put on befor the engine went in

when i put jump leads on it just turns like its got a flat battery how dose that work

when mine was doing that i had a bad earth mate even with the jump leads it just turned over very slowly
i would check wires again mate ign live and fuel pump is where i would start mate

If the ECU light isnt coming on and youve wired it up then the ECU isnt turned on, have you run an ignition live to the engine loom near to the DIS pack? The ignition switched live for the new ECU is a black wire near the DIS pack where before it was in the drivers footwell.

crankshaft sensor by the exhaust manifold or the nock sensor under the inlet manifold....thats why my dispak engine wouldnt start
