"It is a very hard job - borderline bodyshop work I would say. Belive it or not, Vauxhall steel is very tough stuff. If it was a Peugeot I would do it no problem, but a Corsa is a lot different. If you want perfection, then fill and spray is the way to go. If you don't mind some slight distorsions left in the panel then PDR might be ok. Cost would be around £250/£350 bodyshop or £100 for PDR. Hope this helps."

I wouldn't pay anyone to do a job on my car that couldn't spell the word distortions.

I paid £90 last weekend to have 6 parking dents pulled out of my 206. Cheap I thought.

id take the panel off inside the boot and wrm the paint with a heat gun to stop it cracking, try pop it out with your hand,if you try to push it with something that has a corner etc (bit of wood) youll push a bad crease in it,it would be worth trying to save a cost like what that guy quoted...steep in my opinion

So what would be better to try and do first if i was to do it myself. heat it up and push it out with my hands or try and use a sucker?

have seen that done before but genrally it wont leave you with a perfect result, you could try it and then get a dent man in.
The guy who gave you the quote is true about the metal and tbh that price is fair.
The guy we use at my bodyshop would be about £75 - £85 to the public for a dent your sized.
It depends how perfect you want it really.
