want to lower my car but dont know about how much i can lower it on the original shocks..and also how much i can lower before the wheels rub. i've got 195's on atm.

Id say no more than 50 on standard shocks mate.

srry there 195/45/15 would there be much difference if i kept the shocks or got a full suspension kit with new shocks?

Would just be a much cumfier (sp) ride with new shocks. Ive got 195/45s on atm with my car down 50mm on standard shocks, its rather bumpy and quite uncomfortable at times so i wouldnt reccomend going any lower without uprating your shocks.

What jay said above. wouldnt go over 50mm on just springs. standard shocks will just bottom out etc.

and with regards to rubbing, it depends on what width+ offset wheels are. but on 15s you will be fine et38 and above on them tyres. anything below et38 then the arches will need to be modified.

found a streetline suspension kit..just wondering what sorta rep streetline have? if they're good or bad cause the kit seems to be cheaper than most other makes. this is the kit:

Never heard of them so cant really comment on the brand. You get what you pay for though, and i personally wouldnt touch it due to how cheap they are.

the cheapest suspension kits ild advise you to look at, also with a well know rep are g-max, or spax.

ive lowered my corsa 40mm on standard shocks , the rides not bad until u come to speed bump

shocks will wear out faster though, and will feel like a boat when you go round corners.

ive got a budget of about 250ish maybe more..what do you think is the best thing ot do? ive read on here people sayin to get koni yellows with bilstein springs? or should i just get a whole kit in one..im pretty new to this so dont have much experience
