hi all, im going to be making my corsa b five stud in next few weeks, using 288mm v6 brakes on front and v6 rear disc setup.
ive been told by sum1 that when doing this you need to change the servo and/or the mastercylinder otherwise the pedal feels spongy and travels a long way down before biting.
i currently have a 1.4 sport.
anyone know???

I noticed a difference on my v6 brakes after fitting braided hoses, the spongy feeling pretty much went away.
Not what your asking, but may be of some help

You get more pedal travel due to the larger piston in the caliper so it must move more fluid to move that piston the same amount, it is unavoidable.
I used to have them and they do stop you very well but the pedal travel was excessive, although it did make them very 'progressive'. That was with standard rear drums.

has anyone got rear discs? and big front calipers? that can tell me what there pedal feels like?
i have a mk3 astra that ive put v6 brakes on and pedal was crap till i swapped master cylinder for a astra gte one.
was wondering if similar thing could be done on corsa.
i read sumwhere the gsi and sri corsa have bigger master cylinder and servo and that they are best to use????
anyone know?

Rear disc do make a big difference, on a corsa though i've heard they lock up very easily.
