photo-ing my mates car for him again tonite - if you remember is the red pug gti from the carpark with the REALLY annoying yellow lights



Just wondering, anyway to get a pic to come out right with a direct flash and no other lighting?

Normally they come out harsh even with a small aperture.

Change the white balance, play around with a few shots to see what gives the most realistic results

white balance on flash tends to work (as expected), and also cloudy.



Tried it a few times but im out of ideas.

Can't remember you original thread, so forget what you're working with.

Might just be a case of manually altering the colour curve in photoshop. Or using some sort of coloured filter perhaps?

got no filters mate and my higher aperture lense is no-where to be seen.

Working with this...........

Hmm, not sure then mate, can only say experiment and see what results are best.

Or head somewhere else with less harsh lighting

everywhere's like industrial spotlights on factory estates or shitty sodium lamps
