Right, what i need to do is to be able to make a list that is in a random order aphabetical and then be able to be switched back again, i tried it with the auto filter thing but it doesnt do it

well if you have a 2 columns a and b, have a as numerical order 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 etc, then in b the things your wanting sorted...just do the a-z thing on each column....hope thats clear enough
