1991 (first of the E36) BMW 318i 1.8 manual four door saloon. Taxed until end of August, MOT'd 13.09.2008. Nice CD player, power steering, electric mirrors, tasty AC Schnitzer alloys (worth a few quid on their own) etc. Starts first time and pulls like a train, could be ideal for track days etc or just welting round in. Seats are in particulary good order, which seems rare for one of these. Also has a very nice aftermarket steering wheel.
Bad points: it's not immaculate, far from it: electric front windows don't work (could be a fuse, could be more than that, I've honestly not investigated), n/s/r door has dents in it, some minor bits of trim are missing, the alloys want a quick blast over, front tyres different size to rears (though all tread is ok), has bits of surface rust here and there, I think the front discs may be warped slightly, it's noisy over pot holes (drop links?), sunroof (manual) doesn't open and there's probably some other things too.
If you're good with doing cars up or just want a cheap runabout to smoke round in this would be ideal, and don't forget has long tax and long MOT.
Car is near Chester, Cheshire. Very close to M53/M56/A55 and easy reach of M6 North and South.
£500, offers considered and included (if the price is right) are a very nice set of 16" alloys with duff tyres from a 1998 7 series.
Will take cheaper part ex, or possibly a swap or a deal with (very) limited cash your way. Would prefer a Corsa but will listen to any offers or deal but absolutely NO VWs.
