I'm currently taking my front centre dash off to paint and am waiting for my new wheels to arrive today. is it possible to drive without the centre dash installed or would it be best not to? See i need to go pick up me tyres when the wheels arive.
any help would be ace folks 
p.s posted this in the help section but its like a ghost town in there.

dont see why not, you mean taking out the whole dash or just the heater controls?

i used to drive my old car with no dash at all

yeah unplug the whole lot, its just that in the haynes manual it says to unplug the negative battery terminal. ni idea why this is but as long as i plug it back in and it doesn't go bang i'll be happy lol.

yeah the heater controls and around the clock etc

Doesn't matter, Haynes say about the battery just to be safe!
I've never disconnected mine when removing the dash!

right folks i have the whole lot of the centre dash out and stripped the only thing left i have to do is remove the centre of the 3 round heater buttons. it says ye have to put a thin screw driver type thing in and depress it and out pops the button. but it doesn't tell you where to press or whatever.
need this out asap so i can spray it all b4 it gets dark. cheers lads.

if its non air con the outer 2 knobs pop off and the centre one has a release tab throu a hole it the bottom
if it is aircon your screwed as i broke 3 dash panels setting mine up. as the air con knob does not like being taken apart

aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh relief, kind of.
ave been at it for about half an hour. i show me step dad what to do and out it pops first time. coont that he is lol. glad its done though.
