top one looks smoother, but prob won't make any difference

Id use the top one due to its smooth curve, but as has been said, wouldnt make much difference to be honest.

it would probably be better to run some kind of ducting down to the lower grille

used to have that setup, but it idles better with standard airfeed and feels quicker.

at idle the cold feed is closed, should be breathing hot air from the manifold

Both the same tbh

and top engine has just been washed and had back to black sprayed everywhere

might put a cold air feed from my front grill and see if thats any good.

thier will be no noticable difference, other than looks
