was drag racing at york drag way in melborn today! first run and bang, rod three shot straight through the block! was not inpressed at all after paying £30 for the days racing! bit pissed off about the arp bolts i put in failing as well! was running a nice 180ish bph with the new chip and cams i put in! oh well gives me an excuse to strenghten the front end up and give the engin bay a re-spray!

What was it?
Ive never heard of a arp rod bolt failing unless it was fitted wrong.
Ive seen engines with 2 rods through the block, but the big end still firmly attached to the crank due to the arp bolt

You do realise that if Dans car is back on the road before yours he will NOT let you forget it. Ever.
