Agreed. Have done that a few times with people who have commented that HD isnt anything good - once they see it compared on the footy they soon change their mind.
I watched half of the Chelski vs Man Utd game in SD, then saw the second half in HD. The difference was clear as day.

hd is amazing. The colours are so intense. If you cant tell the difference u need a better tv or as mentioned some sort of optical re-alignment

i agree with danny_vx, its over rated and i dont need to upgrade my TV as its perfectly top of the range and i have 20/20 vision so i dont need spectacles. yes its good but over rated IMO.

How is it overrated
Its a little on the pointless side and expensive but by no means is it overrated

its not quite the "leap" from VHS to DVD.
But now when watched DVDs i just see how flat/grainy and grey they are.
HD/blu-ray is awesome.
I dont buy into all this fan boy nonsense, never seen why people get so emotional over a computer console.
Either way i have a 50" Panasonic HDTV with an xbox hd dvd player and is PISSES all over my 100hz panasonic widescreen tube job with dvd.
Its amazing. FACT
