Went to reverse into my garage today to find that the rear reversing lights are not working. Both sides are not working to its either the clusters themselves, wiring from the reverse wiring or the sender at the gearstick broken. Anyone had this problem? where is the sender from the gearstick?

No there is actually a sender on the gear box for the reverse lights them selves. Im not too bad, nae been on CS for ages! I did have a Civic VTI but it had a slight arguement with a field and lets just say the field won! On the look out for another corsa now as soon as the silver rocket went i missed it was so quick for a 1.4

My reverse lights are so random it's unbelievable, sometimes they work sometimes they don't, I can put it in reverse, no lights then when the clutch bites they'll come on, sometimes they just don't come on at all, other times they work perfectly
I've took the sendor out and it seems to work fine, only thing I can put it down to is the rod in the gearbox has worn and can't press the switch in properly, it usually works better when I've been on a long journey and the gearbox is warmed up. When I start it from cold they never work

Before poking around with the senders etc, have you checked the fuse?
Should be the same as the interior light so check if thats working
