well finally finished the conversion on my mates car , vickers-sport
me andmy mate lee fitted it, took longer than we thought and things kept going wrong but all sorted in the end (about 20 hours total )
powercap - needed to remove more than we thought of the firewall to fit it
switched live for coil - somehow was knackered so had to wire in a new 1 fron the ignition barrel
lambda sensor needed lengthening
lots of little bits that people forget to tell u about in the conversion guides or expect u to know

seen them fitted with alot less chopping that that 
what why i prefer the eco pipe, look's factory, and no chopping

had to mount the fan on the front of the radiator too
might make some templates of the plates we made to relocate it

yeh i seen less chopping too, just needed more and then when it fitted we saw with slight engine movement it needed a little more chopping

i guess it depend's on the coversion kit too..
and as the will vary where it sit's depending on the kit, and also, the tollerance differences in the shells

also on the new ecu, ha to cut the mounting lugs off the sides to fit it better
so many little things that come up when actually fitting it all in

definately - we had to grind most parts of the kit and the holes for powersteering bracket didn't line up well either

still got problems with 2nd and forth gear too, sometimes it pops out of those 2 gears

i dint have to cut any of that out when i fitted my 2.half inch charge pipe from tophat

agreed on that point. as if you have mounted the fan on the front of the rad you need to reverse the wiring so the fan will blow instead of suck

we sorted the fan and all works well very impressed with the standard of work gav and lee have done hiding bits and makin everything on show lookin like came out of factory excellent job guys thanks alot
