Right im asking as im not sure.
now i know the main difference between the X14 and the X16/C16 is the crank, IE longer throw so it gives the extra CC.
Would a X18 Smallblock crank fit into a C16 block? ive been told that a C16 will fit the X18 block. but since ive got a very good block could i fit the crank and get a longer stroke with out head/piston contact? or would swapping to the X18 block be best??

crank will fit, the conrods are the same but the pistons are vastly different.

so would either have to change to the X18 pistons or just swap the whole bottom end
