Not engine related... In a Corsa C 1.4 16v...
I think its the climate control, but when i unlocked it before, after the car been at a standstill for 8 hours.... It did it, without the engine been on??
The best I can describe it is... It sounds like a Cog with lots of teeth, one of the teeth is longer than the rest and it catches on something, about 2 times a second.
It sounds as thought it's coming from inside / underneath the glovebox.
Sorry it's vauge. just wondering what It could be?

i think all the relays are around that area whittie, could be one clicking?? 
In mine, if you turn the CD player off you can hear all the relays clicking for wipers, indicators, everything. Try your wipers and see if its a smiliar noise
