Blue wire needs to connect to the spade connector next to the thermostat.

has it got the resistance setting so it beebs when you touch the terminals together?

if so go to you car take the spade connector off the temp sensor.connect a long peice of wire to that end and take the other end into your footwell.them put 1 terminal off your multi meter to the end of that wire and use the other terminal to probe all the other wires untill it beebs.when you have found the that wire connect it to the blue one on the calibra loom, and re connect he temp sensor.

it should have.has it got a setting with a sybol that looks like a picture of head phones?

even if it don't beep you can still test it.put it on resistance/condinuity and when you touch the terminals together you will get a decreasing number that eventually goes to 0.do the test as above and when you touch a wire that reads near enough 0 thats the one you want.

do the test i said on your old engine loom.then see what colour the wire is where it has been cut.then connect the blue to that colour on the car and see if it works.
