In my car i'm fortunate to have a couple of 12inch subs and an amp in my car which sound shithot but i'd like some amped up 6x9's too- that's where the problem lies;
I only have one RCA output on my H/u (which is an expensive) and getting a new one isn't an option.
Are there any 2- into-1 adapters or any other solution?
Also, i want them in by PVS!

a separate amp with high level inputs should work 
if you use a 2-1 from your sub out rca's, it will most likely play in mono only

You can buy a splitter for the RCA outputs you have, run one to the amp with the subs connected and the other to the amp with the 6x9s connected then adjust the gains on the amplifiers to balance it all out
Which headunit is it?

I didn't think about running it off the amp i had already 
Just to be a pain in the arse, does any one have a part number for the splitter or know where i can get one?

It's an Alpine headunit- the ipod ready jobby it was abou £200 when i got it last summer

Not sure if halfords will sell the splitter but Im sure you could find one on ebay. you just need to check that the RCA out on your headunit doesnt have a low pass filter built into it

yea, make sure you get the right end to end ones, either 2 male to 1 female or vice versa

Yeah thats what you want, as long as your amps are close enough together to use it because it looks a little bit short but you get the idea
