i did it in my dads td vectra once, knocked a pipe off the turbo and went into failsafe/limp home mode, could only get 2800rpm and i had to drive from leeds to nottingham

Our road flooded really bad. Most people took it easy and got through. One guy put a pipe on the his exhaust and taped it do his boot, to keep it out the water, and got through no problem.
Then at night, I heard this car revving its nuts off. Looked out my window and there was this Audi A4 completely ploughing through the water. So fast it came up over the bonnet and lapped against the wind screen. Needless to say he got stuck, extremely stuck
