got an L reg 1.4 LS. was wondering what the bunch of wires are that go from the ecu up into the dash bored as im putting cars on it and taking the ecu out?

Thats the engine wiring loom, All the wires for sensors/injectors/ignition go through it

sensors and injectors dont matter but you saying the ignition means that the car wont start?

Yeah the ECU controls the ignition too so you cant just do away with the ECU, what engine is it?

Your going to need something to control the ignition then if you want to get rid of the ECU, not sure how people who run carbs get around it though so you could do with talking to someone who has
