I used hamerite (direct to metal) spray. I wanted a hammered finnish. Cost me the price of about 3 cans and has come up pretty good

sweet does it leave a smooth finish i spoz it does if its a spray type how many coats did you give it?

yer it pretty nice finish. I gave it 3 coats i think.
