same as the 16v but with less power and a more boring drive, shouldnt need to mod the bulk head. Hell you shouldnt be modding the bulk head on a 16v and if you are your using gypo mounts.

no cutting. f16 box. really good engine. still need different mounts and shafts as you would with a 16v conversion

if your going to buy any id get the 20seh engine, which is the 130 bhp version, if you look in back of total vaux mag youll see which car they come in ( mk3 cav i think, maybe mk2 aswel?). i put mine into a 1.6 sport and the exhaust bores were the same on these.

well mine has a full powerflow system on it so the bore should be big enough

you wont really need to do the head gasket on these as there bullit proof, ive never known one to go. the engine code youll need is C20SEH, just do the cambelt for good measure, the only thing different about the 8v is that the head and inlet but this will not make a difference as the the conversion and fitting is to the bottom end and the running gear which is the same as a 16v

^^ thats because they dont make any power in order to strain any part of the engine.

and sorry to correct you tom but the engine code is 20seh not c20seh as it doesn't have to meet any emissions because its from the pre-cat era
as for the engine get one i loved mine can't say a bad bit about one
