is there much difference in comfort having 45s on instead of 40s as mine are getting worn and im thinkings of swapping to 45s as its a bit harsh at the mo

Not a noticeable difference no.

40's look loads better too. Don't be a women

You need some flex in the tyres to be able to grip. Because 40's have a smaller side wall there is not as much contact from the side wall to the road hence less grip.

i now its nothin to do wiv this but jus wonderin.im buyin speedlines this week wonderin if i need to modify the arches at all thanx

that doesn't help with anything TBH is it lowered? what width?
