quite simply as in the post, I am eyeing up all kinds of clocks and stuff on ebay, mainly the meaty 1600 dials, but how do I know if they are electronic or cable? do the electronic ones start at 0 and manual 10mph? would make it easier to sleep at night knowing the simple way  pretty sure my new corsa to be has cable driven dials i think  would be nice to get some parts waiting for it to be fitted, many thanks for info in advance
