Ive got FK's on my golf, done around 10k on them & they havnt seized or rusted. They are a bit firmer than others but im used to that now, dont notice it.
Gaz/Bilstein are better but cost double.

Have heard they rust pretty easy, but grease them up well and clean them when you clean your car to minmalise the amount of dirt sitting on them and they should be fine,
Gaz/Bilstein are very good coilovers kits but i really dont see the point if your only gonna use your car on the UK roads.

fitted mine in 2004 and they are still going strong prob would struggle to move the platforms now but that would be the same with almost any coilovers

My brothers had fk silverlines on his Polo over 3 years now and like i say in every fk thread he loves them, if you grease/oil and clean them every now and then they will last a lot longer but 3 years on and his are still as good as when he bought them.
Most people slag them off but ive driven his car the ride isnt bad at all and he just loves them.

Did you grease them up ? ermmmm No... what do you expect..
My mate has gaz on his rs2000, hes needed two new sets of platforms, does that make them crap ?
No.
