my mate asked me today if i'd want to move in with him as his nan has recently been taken into care so his parents have been given the house.

nothing is really for definate so no price on rent yet but what other costs will there be and how much do you think they'd be? so far i've got.

1) council tax - i dont think we would have to pay this as im an apprentice and hes a student and after a quick look on the net it looks like thats free for us.
2) general bills ie heat, elec & water (how much roughly would they be a month?)
3) tv license - £140odd (assume thats for a year?)
4) food id imagine about 45 a week if that depends where we'd shop etc.
then there is obviously the rent to pay but what other costs will there be?

never moved out anywhere or gone anywhere really where i've had to do stuff for myself like cleaning food etc so should be fun. but i would like to do it just all depends how much it all costs.
all bills would be split 50/50 he says which would be good. but if anyone could help on what things cost etc it would be a great help
