if you dont ahve a Air flow meter pluged in it will be a git to start..
if you dont have the Crank position sensor also known as the flywheel position sensor.. i will not start..
if the cam position sensor isnt pluged in it wont start.. (this is on other cars i have worked on)

we cant get this to start, its cranking put no fuel and no spark, the only thing i can think of is the red wire on the 9 pin plug at the drivers footwell. where is this meant to connect to?

ok no fuel and no spark.... Your fuel pump isn't working for one.... Is the fuel pump relay pluged in... Also no spark... Make sure the roter arm in the distributor is there.. Or the coil pack is plugged in, and the crank position sensor is plugged in! Also the ht coil (if dizzy type) is plugged in properly...

is it primeing? If not then check your wiring. All your problems could be something daft like a earth problem... Lol, if your still getting no luck, drop lee mitchell a message... Always been refered to him when asking about fitting a xe or a let....
