my missus brother got a 1.6 8v megane basicly when you first start it up even if warm it will missfire for about 5 secs then go all fine so replaced the plugs and leads and still doing it, and also its using alot of water in the last 2 days its been filled up 3 times to the max marker the car doesnt over heat and fan kicks in but is using alot of petrol
any ideas?

we told him not to buy french but he didnt listen  how much are you looking for to do the headgasket? may aswell replace the cambelt aswell .
