Hi will a 1.2 8v that has a F10 also take the F13 ive tryed putting a F10 on a 1.4se 8v engine but no where to put starter.

the starter fit's to the engine, and turn's the flywheel...
got nothing to do with the gearbox...



and yes, it will fit

i no how it works but on the 1.4se engine the f10 blocks the starter coming to the fly wheel

it shouldn't do, as all box's on the small block side type of engine's are interchangable..

ive tryed putting a f10 on the corsa sri and you cant get the starter to meet the flywheel due to the box the other side?

funny that, as my old sri, used to have an F10 box on it...

I had the same problem with the guy in the scrap yard i got the box from to i showed him and he gave me my money back when he seen it for himself

never had a problem like that..
even stuck a corsa f15 on a nova 1.2i engine..

sound's like your not fitting the box right or something, as i've never heard or seen anything like that

box is on fine even drives if you bump it. but the cast of the box covers the starter hole not a bit totaly....
