How did you make the boot pop with the wiring? I need to sort mine out

get a solonoid, for your popper.
you then have it earthed, and you use the power coming from the stalk..so you either use the wiper function from the stalk to open your boot, ha ha.
or you take the wiring from the stalk aswell and you fix that on to a switch. i used a boot open switch from an omega. and smoothed it in next to the glove box

I tried doing that but must have done something wrong as everytime I turned the ignition on the boot popped

hmmm.did u have a switch in the circuit. if u wired it directly then yeh the power from ignition may cause the poper to release. try it with a switch in place, should work fine

You were using the wrong live theres 2 try puttin the wire to the other live on the plug and it will work off the stalk

I just used the earth from the wiper and ran a new 12v live from the fuse box to the boot with a switch in the ash tray!

Didn't want to use my wiper as the button, as could easily be knocked!

Was easier running a new wire than cutting into the loom and adding the switch into the existing live!
