would the throttle body from the x16xe fit on the x14xe and if so with the x16xe throttle body ported and polished and the throttle butterfly polished would you see any gains or improvement.

There the same throttle body.
Ported/polished tb wont see any gains. The standard tb is not small and theres much bigger restrictions on a 1400/1600 16v

what do you mean much bigger restrictions, what are the restrictions and how would i remove them, also the induction pipe that goes from the airbox to the inlet is there a vauxhall car that i would be able to get a better pipe from, thanks

If you have a standard engine, the inlet manifold/air pipe behind the engine are HUGE restrictions.

ok so a mantzel or lexmaul would free it up a bit, would an induction pipe from the 1.7td astra fit or the same pipe on the redtop fit
