air bag light is on,

any reasons as to why?

any ideas to turn it off

single airbag system, not been played with as far as i know.
on a 98 1600 sport

well common sense says that the light is on because there is a fault.

to turn it off would be get the problem fixed

given the dangers around airbags i wouldn't do it myself. i'd take it to a reputible garage
