Why do people remove these when fitting a new manifold?
Iv got a protech 4-1 and after reading people removing the SAI, will i need to remove mine?
If i remove it, what parts will i need to replace it with? Also can i remove the whole vacuum valve?
Thanks
p.s i'd search if it was there

Yes you'll need to remove yours with a protech manifold.
You wont need to replace it with anything, just pull it out. Remove it ALL

Cheers for the reply Monster.
Ah right, well if i was to remove it entirely, what happens with the hole that the valve attaches to?

On the manifold? there isn't one on the protec manifold so no need to worry about that.

No, the hole that connects the valve to the engine.
