Do you have one? Would you buy one and why?

What are the main benefits from it?

Just out of curiosity are there more gains using a flat type flywheel or pot (I think its called that anyway) type?

lightweight flywheel will make the car rev quicker, and give the car a faster feel.

super lightweight will mean its a bastard to drie normaly, wont want to idle as it will sound like its gona cut out all the time and normaly you need to run a modifyed starter motor..

depends on aplication i gues but id get a lightweight for the GSi

Get an early flywheel (if yu havent got the pot style one) and get it machined down.

Is that a lot less expensive then?

I'm guessing I'd have an early flywheel anyway Fad? Aren't they flat?

They make youre engine rev faster. You will get a higher BHP reading, but lower torque, so for a road car they are only really usefull for making your dick look bigger... Though if you don't live near any hills then a little bit of weight off may make the car nicer to drive.

Is there much BHP/torque difference though ed or just minor? I wouldn't be changing it to have something to brag about, but so it drives better and picks up quicker
