After having a play with Mike B's and seeing pictures from Rob E, Whittie, Gaz, Adam etc.. I really want a camera.

Im after a D40 really but anything like that would be good.

Wheres the best place get one from?

jessps are selling the d40 at 249.99 (inc the £40 cash back) so you pay 289.99.

atm im looking to get a sony a200 (really only advantage its 10mp) but thats 299 in shops atm

check ebay mate. There is a cannon outlet on there that sells brand new refurbished cameras at alot less than retail price!

Smaller screen, 6 megapixels, older. Not better than the d60 tbh, but has got the screen on the top.

Dont bother with the D40, A200 is a much much better camera
