can the be replaced?i thought it built onto the cast block?
got the chance on a 1.6 engine but has a damaged crank sensor & bracket,would you still get it done?

It can be replaced. It's held on by a 10mm nut that's quite awkward to get too.
Edit: I know it can be replaced on a C14SE anyway. I'm presuming it'd be the same for all engines.

I'm not sure I've never had to buy a new bracket, wouldn't be expensive though.
Make sure when re-attaching the new one, there is a small dowel that has to go into a hole aswell as the 10mm nut as it has to be exact because of it being a magnet.

its ok mate im just trying to find out if can be replaced as i thought it was actually built on to the cast block meaning the block would have to be replaced altogether.
