look on ebay, there are a great many of them there, if you also look on allcorsa.co.uk there is a how to tutorial on how to fit a remote central locking kit.

Is there a proper one available that works with the original vaux alarm system? I see it pointless if you cant still activate the alarm via keyfob

On Ebay in France, I have found THIS

It is the same that Audi or VW remote. You can fix the Opel pics on this remote.
I am waiting an answer from the seller
